What Did You Do For You Today???

I went to the laundromat. We have a washer of sorts at home but no working dryer. I have too many allergies to dry clothes outdoors so I have to dry them inside the house in the bedroom where I have 3 clotheslines strung up. I hate it, it's like sleeping under electrical wires or phone lines or something. Anyway, this time I had washed some bedding like my comforter and I needed to dry that in a dryer so off I went.

Wow!! I'd forgotten how soft clothes feel when they aren't stiff and crunchy and wrinkled from having been line-dried! Crunchy socks and towels are the worst. These feel so soft and real.

I did a whole lot of cleaning.

I kept telling my brain it was lying when it told me that I can't do things.

I backed off from my partner as I realised that I have been difficult to be around lately.

I took the dog to the beach and did some desensitisation with her around being around people. Took her in the waves. Threw her her favourite ball.

I went for a drive in the car, which I love doing.

FUN:  I gave myself fun-time! (Normally I stuff down text or self help books.) :cautious:

I read but another equally exciting Sci-fi fantasy romantic book!!! I sat as a child in wonderment and exhilaration, and placed myself within that read. I climbed jeweled mountains, swash-buckled sea dragons and flew off to adventure. I read for 11 hours until the book was done and then pounced the bed. I woke with a joy of living in an unfettered & magical morning haze.

What a way to roll into the NEW YEAR!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!

Met with my awesome Dr today. Processed a lot of good news and gave myself permission to grow slowly into the spring of '15!! Tonight celebrated with family by watching the world tour a favorite performer. Listening to my guy put words to his music. A nice way to cap off the last night of a very difficult year.
