What Do You Usually Do To Feel Better?

tired of the fight. I understand being alone. When I was a full time caregiver for my husband with severe dementia I had no friends and no social life as I had to take care of my husband.

I think that it will be allright for you in the end. You will continue to learn and to grow and heal and recover. Remember take baby steps in venturing out with your friends. I wish you the best.

I love to create things. I find that when my anxiety is high, only certain things can be done.

High: meditate, journal, take a bath
Medium: knit, crochet, read, (repetitive, monotonous work works wonders for me)
Low stress: paint, draw, sing, dance, and home renovation

I guess you would say that I have this dialogue with myself and go over whatever I'm dealing with to get to the core of it. I keep doing this self-care, self-talk with myself until I experience being at peace.

It's a wonder too how much work I have done around the house in making changes in it when I'm going through something. So something positive always happens which makes me feel better.

That's a damn good question. And I have virtually no answer for it. Mental note: find more stuff that is tranquilo.

Shooting.
Writing on here.

Okay, self. Time to dust off the cobwebs & remember what I used to do that I don't anymore, or find new stuff.
