Maybe it's stupid to feel like Batman. He and I don't have the same origin story at all. His parents are dead, mine I wish were dead, it'd save me a lot of problems.
When I had a lot of money, I gave it to people who needed help -- I mean, back then a $1500 bill didn't hurt me very much, so I would help people out with dental crowns, rent, and such. And now I have no money at all, so I'm not at all like him. I think I may never get back to a place where I'll have that much money ever again.
Plus there are lots of unfortunate implications about Batman's enemies often being mentally ill. I really do wish they'd pit him up against "sane" sociopaths like Vandal Savage and Lex Luthor more often.
Batman and I both are traumatized though. And the trauma is the type of stuff that time just doesn't heal. And neither of us will ever get justice for what traumatized us, ever. The best we can do is to try to cope, and help others on the way.
@Ava Jarvis, if iirc Flashpoint didn't happen his parents aren't dead, & your parents are dead in your head so many times, so they're totally deaaaaad (cough did I say it with Batgrowl on or not.)
Besides, I don't believe in a single interpretation of anything, stories included, being the 'right' one, so if you feel like Batman, you're totally Batman. More badass than Bruce Wayne, as well, as you're a real one.

I'm Winter Soldier who needs to remember he's, goddamn, Bucky. And as such what? Follows Captain America.
Yes!
Fortunately I was sat in the row behind my party when I watched it, so they couldn't see my tears. There were a lot of familiar references in there.
My favourite line was when Fin's background was being checked after he had infringed the regulations; "Trained from birth; like all the rest of them".
