The very bravest thing I have done today was not to panic when a bee flew near and allowed him to crawl on my hand, geez it gave me the creeps but I allowed it and he flew away and I did not get stung, so it is official, bees do not smell my fear of them!:p

That's funny @Rain. The same thing happened to me yesterday. I let it walk around on my hand and then it flew away. I was thinking to myself, "alright bee, I'm trusting you to do the right thing and not sting me". Lol .

Today I think the bravest thing I did was to not drop out of school. I know that sounds like a pat answer but I came very very close today. Therapy tends to bring me down and I was feeling like, no, I can't do this right now. I talked to some fellow classmates this afternoon and they convinced me to stay and said they would have my back.

Greetings

My thing is that with the introduction of atavan into my staying upright regime.

My current trade may not be my friend anymore..... I drive for a living.... non cdl but 400 miles every workday.

Took my first on the job dose last week, and it did a pretty good job in helping me get through heavy rain urban interstate traffic.

The down side is that it lingers and affects me way past what I took it for.

So now I'm starting to formulate a plan B......

That's my bravest thing to date, knowing when to say..... 'UNCLE'

My bravest thing lately happened last night.

We heard yelling and swearing and someone being told to "f*ck off!" Outside.

My partner went out to check what was going on. It was one of our neighbors doing the shouting and she is a young woman.

I started dissociating and stuck my head in this forum while he got dressed to go out (it was the middle of the night).

I didn't want to get involved, so over all the crap that goes on around here.

But I heard more loud talking and decided to go out to watch his back, as I always say I have his back. So I did! My brave act.

Fortunately it was all ok. Just a young couple. They decided to move on. Too many dogs barking and people asking them what they were up too, I think.

Whoever was being swore at had left already.

You were being brave.....I hate it when I hear couples fighting around here, it deeply impacts me as well. It has only happened two times but it is shocking to hear I understand you not wanting to get involved and good for you for watching his back.

I went to Kernels and got a bag of SuperKid (multi color) popcorn. As I was walking away a little girl went to counter looking at the popcorns and her mom pulled her away.

I saw myself in the kid.
I approached the mother and said i like to share and opened the sealed bag. The kid was polite and took only ONE popcorn. I told her she can have as much as she wants.

Both the kid and mother smiled. The little girl was very happy.

This is my first time offering "candy" to a kid.

Decided that I needed to get more help. Talk therapy alone wasn't enough and I was still spiraling into a deep depression and becoming very suicidal again. I have an appt w a psychiatrist this week and am supposed to try a DBT group. I'm also supposed to meet with a somatic experience therapist this week as well. All on Thursday lol. I knew I was getting dangerously close to suicide and I was also frozen and I had to do something even though I am extremely terrified.
