Apparently when men say they don't know what women want, and claim women are too complicated, what they really mean is

"I don't see how what she is asking for could be valuable so I am going to decide for her that what she says she wants is actually different than what she really wants, then I am going to act bewildered because she got upset because I gave her what I think she should want instead of what she asked for.

Telling my flu that I don't f*cking appreciate it ruining my plans on Fb then having someone chastise me for my use of language and then ask me if I would want my children using that language!. OMFG... edited* I responded by basically showing her that profanity is useful in coping with pain and that my children as they mature will be taught that it's ok to use as long as it's not being verbally abusive to someone.. unless of course the only option left is bodily injury.. then cursing would be actually a good alternative.. her twisted pants may untwist so fast she will take off like a Huey helicopter. But that's her problem..Poor woman.. never experiencing the pleasure and release of a good timely curse word. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. I know the suppression. It sucks. Reminding myself that these situations are here to help me learn to stick up for myself and that it's ok to agree to disagree. Little steps iron. Little steps.
