What Made You Happy Today?

I dealt with two difficult situations today. I am really happy with myself for hanging in there despite all the roadblocks.

I am happy that I am currently not outdoors, with all the horrible wind and almost relentless rain. I am happy that it is not my turn to cook dinner tonight. I am happy I completed a task I had been putting off. I also smiled at several comments on this forum and some avatars today, so I am happy that I haven't lost the ability to smile :rolleyes:.

Aqua aerobics made me happy today because it forced me to leave the house. I actually had fun for the first time in a long time. I forgot what fun felt like.

My surgery went well, I am trying hard to keep myself well. I have a surprise to share with my therapist and I have a safe place to stay this summer. All things to make me very happy.

My princess looked at me with the hugest grin as her 3 year old alter and said "Mud man I love your hair its sooooo fuzzy!"

My baby princess (daughter) told me she wants fuzzy hair like mine :).

I was happy as I had a good day today as the last 2 weeks have been eventful for me and this was the first calm day I have had in a while. ;)

I think I can tell which twin is which now. Yay!!!

I sorted through and threw out three small bags of stuff. After all the crying last night I was able to just let go of stuff this morning. I could just throw out stuff. It was great.
