Lunch and shopping with a friend today. As antisocial as I am, I'm happy that I got through four hours of hanging out without stabbing her - or myself - in the eye with a fork.

I was so happy thus morning as I had the best nights sleep I've bad in months! As last night, I made a night pee bag up, by adapting the leg one that I've got just now, and using oxygen tubing left over from my wife's illness.

It worked a treat, and I'm even looking forward to going to be later on, it's made such a difference for me. The folk at the surgery are still trying to get me one that will fit the drain that I got fitted with in Holland, but no luck as yet, but now I'm OK with the one I made.

Saw a film about people who look after orphaned wild animals in Africa today. Was touched by the care these people showed, particularly to the elephants - beautiful creatures

I am happy because I accomplished so many things today, had a long talk with my daughter and being able to stay home tomorrow and not have to go anywhere.

My plants are growing like no business.

Taking pointers, little buddies. Life's simple, water & light & the right humidity & a semblance of care and not being overwhelmed by toxic environs.
It ain't difficult. It ain't a big deal.

That my niece turns to me when she is in turmoil mentally and I can comfort her. I am not happy she is in turmoil, no, it is that I can help her and I do that makes me happy. Also that it is she turns to me for the advice and the listening ear, not someone else. I am honored and touched and I love her so much!

That I have two awesome friends, and today is a good sunny hot day and we got to sit outside and have lunch and talk about silly esoteric things. It's a good thing.
