What Made You Happy Today?

For moments of today I understood and applied knowledge and learning. It was good to feel competent.

I found pictures of the type of people I feel comfortable with online. With all their piercings and strange clothes and love of raves. I felt at home for a little and happy. I don't know how to find those people in real life. But it was nice to remember I do have a group out there that I can identify with from afar.

I am happy because my daughter is filing for divorce today. I am happy because she is dropping off papers for a permanent restraining order. I am happy because I woke up in a really good mood and feel peace, a first in a very long time. I hope I have more days of that.

I am happy that I did some errands and cleaning. I got some cream to make pancakes. I had a bird sitting on my head.

Having a place(here) that I can find camaraderie. That makes me happy.

I am happy that my husband is having a good day today. He did not spill his cereal today and he managed to open the curtains again. He seems to be doing alittle better.

Going out for breakfast with the twins to celebrate my birthday. I have anxiety going anywhere so it was good for me to do it even though it was hard. It makes me happy to see them enjoying themselves and I could not think of a better way to spend my birthday.

I am happy because my daughter will call the lady from domestic violence at the police station. That fills me with relief.
