What Made You Happy Today?

This is difficult because I am actually angry about something right now BUT I did have some nice things happen. I cleaned the apartment today and have been working on the blanket I've been making. I can't wait to get it finished, it's really been coming along.

Ten more days until my wrist is no longer to be in a brace or wrap!! :D

I am so very happy because I got my laptop out of the service center alittle bit earlier than what they told me. I am so happy to be online and back with my friends on this forum. I am happy because my husband is having a good day and my daughter is having a good day and all is well in my world today.

I am happy about my shoulder. My physical therapist says I am ahead in healing, more than he thought I would be. Going in one direction I'm about 80% now, so I am now going to be working on going over and up. ouch. But I am excited that I don't have to have surgery on it.

I am also happy that my neighbor brought me chocolate bar. Giggle. Plus, I did laundry today, so I now have clean sheets on my bed.

It's been a hard two days. I woke up Monday with my hand twice the normal size but the good news is that I was able to get an appointment to see an orthopedic doctor Friday.

Hopefully they'll give me good news about my wrist. And I am going to do my best to see the kids while in town.

Lying around with my cat while she cleaned herself after the bath I gave her. Giving her cuddles and watching Louis Theroux primal scream in one of his documentaries. Funny shit.

A student told me that what we've been studying has changed her perception of a lot of things, that it's broadend her view about the overall topic that the class is centered around. (I could have hugged her, but that wouldn't be "professional," and I wouldn't want to scare her. But, she has no idea how lovely it was to drive home, repeating in my head what she said. It helped push those self-critical voices out.)

I went to a drawing class today. It was good.

I did a small amount of cleaning! Each day I am doing a little bit of cleaning, decluttering and throwing out some stuff.

That my husband was offered a job at his interview and he accepted. We really, really, need another income as we are hurting. I feel terrible it is a second job for him. Though, since losing his other second job, I think he has felt a little bit lost like I do.
