What Made You Happy Today?

[Let It Be]

I ran into someone at the store that I haven't seen for a very long time. She called out my name, and I almost didn't recognize her. We stood there and talked and talked, like it was just yesterday, that we had seen each other.

Running into her made me happy, because it just felt real. I felt okay in opening up about what has been going on in my life, and so did she.

Her last comment to me, was that we were both survivors, and I said back to her, oh, so true!

That I wrote in my blog, though no one has responded, I still feel happy about that. I wasn't sure I had it in me, but then it all came out. Very happy about that.

I have plans to let go of a bit of stuff. That makes me happy.

I saw a friend today. That makes me happy.

I am sitting with what is. That makes me happy.

I am happy that my daughters husband filed for divorce. He had to pay the five hundred dollar fee. I am happy that she can take the divorce papers with her to welfare and that will help her to get it. I am happy that she is going to go and talk to a lawyer today and I am happy that I will be watching my granddaughters.

I am happy that we got the last tax form we needed to do our taxes now. I cannot wait to get it over with.

I am happy that I saw someone's irritating behaviour as mine reflected back to me. I can see how annoying I have been.

I am happy that the police department called my daughter today and she may get a job as a dispatcher. Oh happy day.

I am happy because I met someone new. My walls are up, but I am willing to give this a chance. I deserve to be happy!

Today I dropped off a carload of donations to our local facility. I then stopped to get a drink at taco bell. When I asked how much, the man said "oh no, it's on the house." That made me happy today.

Happy my husband brought home a box of Green Mountain Blend "Nantucket" coffee.

I got a present and that made me really happy. I also gave a few presents as well.

Playing with my daughter down at the local pool until eveningtime. She always knows how to make me smile, and I was able to give her lots of smiles and laughter in return by taking her to the pool, her favourite activity.
