What Made You Happy Today?

Seeing that hubby completed what he set out to do today. He really pushed his boundaries and succeeded in everything he did.

Helping hubby to saw/plane down a door. I was a 'chippys mate' ;) Okay, so all I did was hold the door steady, but it was nice doing things together.

That I got up. That I meditated.

Three of my four cats joined me for my cat nap: one on my side, one at my side, and the other atop the couch. Purrfect bliss.

What made you happy today?

Thus far, .......chirping birds signaling the start of a brand new day and being the first one awake. :)

When I woke up this morning, I knew who I was, where I was, and when I was. This last week or two I keep waking up in the morning not knowing those basic things. It takes me from a few seconds to a few MINUTES to figure this out sometimes.

Almost everybody has woken up in the morning and not been able to recognize where they were, even in their own bedrooms. Since the beast struck, I would also wake up not knowing WHO I was, then this last year, I occasionally woke up not knowing WHEN I was (what day/month/year/century). Not knowing the three of those combined (where, who, when) can be truly terrifying.

This was yesterday but I'm so excited I had to put it here.

I had some new visitors to my garden bird feeders - a small flock of Redpoll! They are small finch-like birds with a red cap on their heads and a read breast. I was so excited I was jumping up and down in my kitchen with my lads saying' 'it's just a bird.'

i have never seen them in my garden before and it made my week!:D:tup:

It's tricky to find lavender here at the Home Depot, etc. I haven't figured it out. Normally, I'm too late, but today I bought 3 quart-sized pots for my porch. Driving home with the three pots in the cab of my truck and smelling them made for a lovely errand.

Taking one of my sons to see Iron Man. I didn't enjoy the movie but I was there for the company.
