A lot of people leave the military and get jobs where there is action or where they are under stress, it's sort of what they need. They fit well into paramedics, police etc, etc. Once you have PTSD though and are professionally diagnosed with PTSD and Chronic Depression, here in Australia, you are not allowed to touch weapons and sometimes they take your licence off you.
So to find a job where you fit in is virtually impossible.
Jimmy, if you are only diagnosed PTSD can you still have your weapons? I thought you could not own firearms in OZ!!! Anyway, I have been carrying legally for over 40+ years...Since we moved to NM and got our CCP's, I only carry about 50% of the time....The wife carries hers all the time, she asked me about and I said.....well I'll just use your if needed. LOL
