When People See You As Strong

I don't believe I am strong but I do believe I am resilient and there's a difference. Being strong means being able to withstand something and being resilient is the ability to adapt and bounce back.

That sentence really hit me. I haven't thought of it in those words. That is such a perfect way to describe what we all go through. Thank you.

Thank you @In the weeds . I liked your name when I saw it as that really does describe the feeling and perception, doesn't it?

The older I get the more I feel it is beyond words. Or perhaps rather it is rare where any of those thoughts and words can be honestly composed, shared and held sort of in a sacred space, the reality and implications of them understood and held. But it does seem beyond words, the depth of the pain.
