yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. So many heroes here, we just don't always see ourselves that way. :):tup::happy:

Real ones: Machiavelli, Robespierre, Cesare Borgia, Marie Curie, Bismarck and Churchill :D

Imaginary ones: Prometheus, Jack Frost, Loki and Mephisto :happy:

(Ture is looking at me...I think he's pouting because he's not one of them...:laugh::inlove:...but he's next to me, so he's not a hero to admire but a companion to share my way :wacky::happy:)

Too many to name and Al Haynes Dennis Fitch and crew including the flight attendants an copilot..it was considered impossible emergency to handle ..they all should have died but a lot didn't

I think mine is Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan who made miracles happen. Helen Keller was blind deaf and dumb and was cut off entirely from the real world until her teacher Annie Sullivan came into her life and taught her the meaning of words, taught her about life and the meanings of words through teaching her sign language and taught her to read Braille. Helen Keller went to college and became a very inspiring speaker inspiring people around the world and had such gifts as an adult.

I have so many heroes, all of whom help me to understand how high the human spirit can reach: Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr, Albert Einstein, Carl Sagan, Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Noam Chomsky, David Suzuki, Ai Weiwei, Jane Goodall...

My grandmother. Silent yet strong. I think personal Heros are better than famous ones as we can see many sides of a personal hero. We can only see pieces of a famous hero.
