Woman In Combat Arms...

OK HERE IS THE SECRET JOKE...
This guy decides to join the Navy. On his first day of service, he gets aquatinted with all the facilities around the ship he will be serving on. The guy asks the sailor showing him around, "What do you guys do around here when you get really horny after months of being out at sea?", to which the other replies, "Well, there is this barrel on the upper deck, just pump your cock in the side with the hole."

Weeks pass, and the new guy is getting real horny and remembers the barrel. He climbs to upper deck and sees the barrel. Flings his shlong out and starts f*cking the barrel. Its simply the best feeling he had ever experienced, it was truly a success!

After he was done, zipped up and merrily walking along, the guy who originally told him about the barrel walks by. "That barrel really was great! I could do it every day!"

To which the other crew member replies, "Yeah, you can every day except Thursday." Confused, the new guy asks why, to which the other guy replies, "Because its your turn in the barrel on Thursday."

So bringing things back to a place that is normal. (getting myself into a barrel in deed)... should women carry guns and shoot stuff or not?

I prefer talking about whacking off cause it's something that every one does in one form or another.

Should the military not train women members at all on how to carry guns and shoot stuff, blow stuff up and be self reliant in combat situations on a regular basis, just once in basic training is enough, leaving them totally unprepared so then military men will be under orders to protect women when the shit does hit the fan?

Hey T

I think some of the other woman vets have mentioned some of these things about the lack of training for woman. To not train someone properly for the job that they're supposed to do is criminal in my book. Prejudice of any kind dies hard and just doesn't go away when people get the ability to do things that they haven't had the chance to do before.

I was in VietNam and at that time woman in the military didn't have combat types of jobs. And yet the people I fought against did. Both the VC and the NVA had woman soldiers. They were good soldiers and as tough as any I've had to fight against. I know the arguements about why they had them and we didn't at that time. No need to rehash that.

Just a point that the modern military is starting to catch up with the rest of the world. But that doesn't mean that individuals like yourself won't experience or have to fight prejudice. You will. It's going to take time for it all to even out as I see it. Doesn't make it right, just change doesn't happen as quickly as we'd like it to.

Equality is a damn fine line to go down, and I am all for it.

But being a Nature based person. Do I realy want a women behind me on patrol, who is having her once a month Severe pain, discomfort and agression time.

Bearing in mind that when in theatre a lot of the time our stress cup`s are full due to days of action. Should the risk be taken and that thrown on top of an all ready full cup.

We have all (Guys and Galls) been there when the rounds start to fly, the aggression kicks in, the adrenaline is pumping. We all know what happens and know that stopping can be "Hard" at the best of times. having some one suffering with the possibilty of :

Irritability,, tension, dysphoria, stress, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, fatigue, mood swings, increased emotional sensitivity, and changes in libido, bloating, abdominal cramps, constipation, swelling or tenderness to the breasts, joint and muscle pain

Which are only a few things associated with the menstrual cycle, is a Liability to the people on the ground. Be it own forces, or civilian populace.

There are jobs that cater for and are probably better suited to women. I knew female Mechanics and Medics who hold there own with blokes.

So should women be in Combat roles? No
My opinion, my tuppence.

Well not entirely. I don't want us all to get along! I don't like my neighbours so much. Oh no, this is how it started the last time! haha!

Yeah equality is a bitch. Sitting here thinking my mandatory 1 hr of "equal thoughts" a day for the labour government. But maybe we could turn this around into a big win. And here is where I step into deep water.

First of all. You can torture me all you want, water board me for days. and I will never admit that physiological, emotional or psychological changes take place during pregnancy. Both pregnancies my wife and I endured were wonderful. Indeed, blue birds sat on my shoulder daily and my wife floated 2 inches off the ground wearing flowers in here hair and never complaining one bit. That's my f*cking story, and I'm sticking to it.

But on the odd chance my story is a bit of a fantasy, I have an idea that would change everything. A pregnant woman Battalion. All at about 6 months (Things get more pleasant at that time). WMD. f*ck you. We got the Pregger Squad. You only have to hit a country once with that and they are not going screw around again. We could get rid of the nukes. After the one time we play the Pregger card, nobody is going to ever mess around again.

There. I've solved all war by creating the ultimate weapon. And I still have not had coffee.

Hey Alan and Wagon

Ya'll made me laugh, damn you. I hate my neighbors too. I don't think people were meant to live as close together as they do. Or maybe it's just me, probably, that shouldn't live as close to other people as I do.

I wish we could all get along but I fear it's just not to be. I do think that people can learn to coexist. You're just not going to get along with everyone or even like everyone but I can live with that. Just that most others can't.

Rant Edited
cause I was told, "Do not to make any important personal decisions, sign any legal papers, or perform any activity, that depends on your full concentrating power or mental judgement. "

VA gave me some happy meds today, knocking me out with the help of a wonderful anesthesiologist, who I happened to proclaimed my love for him while coming to. I had a camera shoved down my throat, so they could take some biopsies.

For me that must mean no posting to triggering topic cause I'm one of those "untrained" females who ended up in the front lines down in the horn, watching guys drop dead protecting my ass.

Now the anxiety of waiting for biopsy results begins in place of the anxiety of going under.

They gotta put me out, out, cause I have control issues, allergies to most meds, which they didn't catch last time for the other end scope. that was a crappy (pun intended) experience. Still a bit relaxed and happy but the "after" headache is starting up.

Does anyone else have issues going under?
