this is an in interesting study. I wish they would have included what kind of controls they had on the study, so the could isolate PTSD as the cause of type 2 Diabetes.
I wonder if they have also done a study on men?
 
Yup, I use it to help me nap with bubs during the day! Wonder what other things I can do to help not be another statistic like this study!
 
It was my understanding that any type of prolonged stress or high cortisol levels can result in prolonged high blood sugar levels, even in people with below average (for the US) BMI.
 
I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes after taking Quetiapine and gaining weight. Then my blood sugars went up into the 600s all of the sudden. Two kinds of pills and 3 kinds of insulin. Then, without dieting or exercise, but lots of therapy and meditation, my blood sugars came way down. Now I'm on no insulin, 1 kind of pill, no processed food, and low carb diet. I want to get off the last pill and lose weight.
