If it bothers you, mention it. Your silence about this is probably why it frequently happens.
Possibly to give another of her clients the courtesy you want to be shown. With the mistaken impression of you aren't bothered about it.

I'm sure she will be happy to accommodate you, as you're not asking for anything unreasonable. She really should find a better way of dealing with that. It isn't very professional.

This puts things into context thanks. Next session is tomorrow so it's good to have this clear in my head - although now something else really stressful has happened to do with my partner, but that would probably be the subject of another thread...

Several times now my therapist has gone to answer her front door in the middle of my session. I feel real...

Unless this is some kind of an emergency there should be no interruptions as this may happen at a difficult and crucial time in your session . You need to assertively explain this

My therapist did the same more than few times, sometimes it was the next client, other times someone else.
I personally am fine with it as she respects me and my needs entirely, and always trying hard to make me feel comfortable. I am trying though to accept she is a person too, not a robot, and simply is impossible for her to make it all perfect. Ringing on the door happens and it doesn't depend on her. I am trying to see therapeutic relation like maybe only one normal relation in my life, I am grateful she respects me but I am also trying to give her space to be just a human too.
Majority of her behavior is like a remedy for my wounds so I can deal with few, for me, very minor things.

But it depends on the individual. If this is bothering you a lot, it's perfectly appropriate to raise the issue discussion.
I am doing the same for stuff most important to me.

I have had about four T's in my life and would be shocked if any of them behaved this way. Totally inappropriate, you should be her total focus and nothing else. I would feel very disrespected and angry esp since I am paying to see a T.
