I can honestly and whole heartedly say that as one about to enter the "psych system" that I am absolutely terrified of the drug regime. Christ, I can't even handle USA type over the counter cold medicine. (makes me extremely ugly and have giant mood swings). I had Vicadin when I broke my wrist and that made me severely depressed after 3 days. Aspirin makes me sleepy..... but only for an hour. Can't say reading some of the horror stories here make me feel too relaxed. But the alternatives are..........????

Oh well. It's got to be done. Onwards into the abyss.

The fun part about the drugs is they really do affect everyone differently. Just keep this in mind, gennerally, when I have paradoxical effects I am asked "How much meth have you smoked this evening, sir?";)

Try and convince folks that just because you are tall scrawny dude with really bad teeth that doesn't sleep, enjoys intricate work and talks in four hour run on sentences that all the stuff you have ingested is not only legit, but mandatory. LMAO

I think you just described the difference between crazy and crazy. As long as the ride is fun. Recreational drugs aren't popular for nothing.

The one thing I see in this is that everyone has a different reaction to meds. SSRI and SRI made me want kill myself. I take Tramadol and Diazepam in small amounts and it works for me.Took me four years of screwing around with the Dr to come to this. It does not stop all the PTSD issues bet helps a lot. It is not for everyone, but if it works for me. Keep looking until you find what works for you.
