That's where my names comes from-I Feel Like a Monster by Skillet. Great song for us PTSD folks, lol.

I absolutely LOVE Skillet! I saw them in Portland Maine with a bunch of teens (and my daughter was one of them) and an adult friend of mine. Oddly, the two adults were in the mosh pit, all of the teens were wall paper! I love most every song they do, particularly the Monster track, The Last Night (deals with cutting), Awake and Alive, and every song off the Collide album. Phenomenal band and double cool because it is a husband and wife team that got it started!

I know what you are talking about, Nadia! I can get these pretty much anywhere, though. Every where I go I find something that reminds me of my kids and that reminds me that I have had no communication at all with them in 5 months... it sucks!

You know you have ptsd when you ask your husband when you will go food shopping and your husband who has extreme memory loss calmly tells you, that you did the food shopping yesterday. I had completely forgotten. Is my face red.:laugh:
