I wrote the date of the day on a sheet with above it: locked door. Than I only have to check the door once before going to bed. And the times I got out of bed. But now I stopped doing this. Wait, I'll check if the door is locked. It actually did work. You recheck you have locked the door way too many times at night, and you still don't have a clear recall if it was locked the last time you checked, so you have to check again.
Because you can't risk a mistake.
That one hit dang relatableYou go at your childhood home but can't go inside because it's not yours anymore. You only feel very bad being there like you never were happy there. You wishe you can enter because you never felt at home since you left this place.
Funnily enough I have signs of mild autism all my life, there isn't a percentage/ ranking system for autism tests though. Apparently I also have all the signs OCD and ADHD which means I'm definitely on the spectrum and that makes all my other illnesses much worse than it needs to be.When you start believing you have autism, because you have social anxiety and get overstimulated when you hoover the living room. When you do tests online to see if you have adhd, autism, altzheimer, or a combination. When you go on a forum at 1.13 am. You run through the supermarket to do the shopping.
I don’t relate to any of this. Maybe only to the poor sleep. You know you have PTSD when...
1. ...you have more emergency helpline numbers in your phonebook than friends,
2. ...you consider Born on the Fourth of July a 'feel good movie',
3. ...you see your psychiatrist, your psychologist and your GP more than you see your family,
4. ...you can remember the name of every soldier in your regiment from 1967, but you can't remember the name of your only grandchild,
5. ...your bestfriend is the psych nurse who hasn't dislocated your shoulder,
6. ...you avoid seeing your friends because you think that they think you're paranoid
7. ...the last time someone climbed into bed with you, they were promptly sedated and taken back to their own ward.
8. ...you spent last year's Australia Day firework celebrations trying to recover the rest of your platoon.
9. ...you wake up at 2am and are thankful that you've finally had a good nights sleep, and
10. ...you're the only one at your ten year highschool reunion with gray hair and a pension.
Hilarious! So good to know I’m not the only one who’s phone is full of pics like: this was the front door lock, this was where I parked, this was the sign I saw that I wanted to rememberWhen you start to photograph your stove every time you leave the house because you can’t ever remember if you turned it off or not.
No, you’re not alone in this!Hilarious! So good to know I’m not the only one who’s phone is full of pics like: this was the front door lock, this was where I parked, this was the sign I saw that I wanted to remember![]()
