Okay I wrote this out already so I wouldn't forget. Lol.
You know you have PTSD when...
...You are going to your doctor's and since you've been there before, you forget to look at the signs while entering to find out which floor the doctor's office is on, and realize that once you are already in the elevator and the doors have shut on you. So you end up checking the floors as you go up thinking it must have been the 2nd or the 3rd floor. 2nd Floor No. Third Floor. No. Fourth Floor. No. Oops. Someone called the elevator again to the bottom floor. And they take you to the basement.
Then you drop them off again and go the 5th floor. No. 6th floor. Huh???? No sign of your doctor's office. So you go all the way back to bottom since you think you might have missed it, and check the signs (which you should have done while entering the building.) You look and look and find no sign with your doctor's name on it. One of the spaces is missing so you think...he might have died and closes his practice without informing you?? (since you have had this happen to you before.) :(
Then you check the signs outside the building. No luck. Then you realize. Oh! The address was 13A instead of 5A! Okay!!! So you found the right building with the right address, the right sign, and the right floor, and then you go up the elevator and find the right door... and it's locked!
Huh??? A secretary eventually comes out after I've rang the doorbell. Didn't I have an appointment at 2pm? She goes back and checks. My appointment is at 3pm and she she also adds that I should take care to come on time, because there is a long wait...
OKAY! :)
