What an awesome site. Someone spent, probably years scanning and inputting into that site. There should be No real question now whether a particular battle happened. Mind you, it's at a command level. I have not looked right into it, does it cover individual contacts??

The british government would never allow anything like that.
They have only in recent years started releasing documents about the first world war and not all of it will ever be made public i think any thing within living memory will be locked away and even then the public will only get to see what the bureaucrats want them to see.

Texas Tech has been running the Vietnam Project since I can remember. They have all kinds of info recorded. Pictures, videos, audio tapes and written data. Haven't been there for some time but the site then was a little difficult to navigate. Well worth the effort tho'.
