The therapist told me today: Your therapy sessions is no longer functional! Is it all over for me? I don't know ... I am broken extremely!

@Ghaith wardeh, I know it feels as there is no hope and maybe you need to make space for that emotion. But there is always hope. Did the therapist advised what they meant by "therapy sessions are no longer functional"? Did they advised why they felt that way or how they came to the conclusion/opinion?

Im sorry you're going through this! Though you've had a few, its certianly worth another look for another therapist! But i do understand its very hard!

I am sorry for that!
Maybe I need it also .... I have many problems in managing of myself and my life

Therapists can only do so much. Sometimes they feel they get stalled with the therapy, that you cannot move forward any more, and that could be why they want you to try medications.

On your profile, it says you have a new therapist. Are you saying they want to stop treatment because you refuse medication? If you don't want to do medications, you don't have to. But sometimes it an take a long time to find the right combination of medication that will work for us. It's a LOT of trial and error.
But you will meet therapists who feel they cannot do much more without them. That's when you know it's time to find a new therapists. Here in the states, we often time will go through several therapists before we find the right one.

It's important, as others have said, to not give up hope. I would recommend looking into meditation in addition to therapy. There are so many mind/body benefits to it. Look into doing CBT, so you can get rid of the "all or nothing" thinking. Self soothing, relaxation and grounding. These are things you can look into on your own while you are looking for a new therapist.
It will get better, take care.

@Silver. , honey, thanks for you advice and interesting!
Ya, I'm taking medications !
I've changed number of therapists!
I don't know! The blurred vision didn't get any better and the social rejection destroyed me actually.
I will look into CBT & links
Thank you

Finding the right therapist can be a daunting task. It took me 2 years and about 20 therapist to find one I could work well with. Half of them flat out stated that they didn't have the skill set to deal with me and referred me on to another. Like what others have said it's a lot of trial and error to get the right med and therapy combo. Please keep trying!

I know how demoralizing it can be to hear from a professional that it's not working but that could just be a not so great fit. If you are having a difficult time holding on to hope on your own, maybe a friend can hold onto it for you. By that I mean someone who can be there when you make those calls. I had some one to encourage me to just make 3 more at a time.
