It was brought to my attention that media embeds where not showing correctly, and after looking into it, that is due to the recent security enhancements. The problem is simple, companies such as youtube don't really provide embed content from youtube, because they're owned by Google, and instead the url for the content comes from youtube.google... type scenario.
As a result, this causes a failure for video because our requirements here demand explicit verification of any domains content to come from that domain, and thus force https encryption as well. If it can't do that, then it will simply not load the content.
Whilst some companies do comply with such requirements, others do not, so I made a simple decision to remove all video embedding from MyPTSD. This does not stop you linking to video, just post the link and people click to view it where it resides online. It just means when you post a link here for a video, it won't embed that video automatically into your post, it will just keep it as a link.
This has nothing to do with external links, they can redirect or do what they want. It is purely about embedding x here that attempts to go retrieve information and instead of getting it from x, attempts to get it from y, thus failure.
Hope that explains things well enough. This includes the media gallery too... now limited to just images.
