Hi @coco9 I appreciated the reference to the fact checker and I painstakingly went through the list and read the info when I clicked on the red letters.

There is a lot of misinformation in there but also some of the things he said were half true.

My biggest concern is that the democrats have not represented my views or opinions or beliefs at all ever.

I will not trust a liberal or progressive paper as the ultimate truth because of its bent and left bias. So I have some more digging to do online.

I really do appreciate you offering references though so thank you very much.

As for the ban on guns, I do not trust the democrats concerning many issues especially on the right to bear arms as our democratic governor just passed legislature that will come into effect next year that all pistol owners have to turn in their pistols. I doubt that it will be upheld, seriously but both left and right have totally failed this country in my opinion.

Also, the lies that Clinton told to the mothers who had lost children even to daring to show up at the funeral and lie to her face, is cruel in my opinion and I have yet to see Trump as cruel the jury is still out on that one.

In presidential elections there is so much dirty tactics used on both sides, I have yet to see one election cycle when this does not happen, and I think the mudslinging etc is going to be the ugliest of all.

Like I said I have so many unanswered questions about Trump and I am concerned that he exaggerated so much. I am glad that I have some time to play catch up on the politics of both the dems and the repubs yet to go.

it's surprising what must have bounced out of the car window and down a drain, into the river, into the sea, down a mineshaft, onto the back of a truck going the other way...

I have a question... Why do those who can't pick Clinton (basically in the #neverHillary or almostneverHillary camp) choose Trump over Gary Johnson of the Libertarian party? Is Trump the choice over Johnson because of win ability/popularity of Trump alone? Is Trump the choice because of policy reasons?

I do not want my vote to be wasted by splitting the ticket. But that is just me, having done that before to realize the mistake I made by voting for a third party. Hope this makes sense.

I'm not worried about your red vote in a very blue state. California will be "called" blue very early in the evening, just as many other states will be called blue before much of the vote is in. In this sense, it's swing state voters that have much of the power in electing a president.

Trumps electoral college map is dismal. Thank GOD!

Kaine will do much to strengthen the dem ticket. Not sure I can say that about Pence.

And as for Ivanka's dress------people fail to see the bigger picture. If you think Ivanka typically wears cheaper clothing, hahahahaha. That dress was PURELY an attempt to pedal her wares, nothing less, nothing more. Am I surprised? No. She used the convention as a business opportunity. We're electing the most important office in the world and she's peddling an ugly dress that people say makes them look naked! (Macy's reviews.) Yes, it points to the bigger picture for the Trump family. It's all about ME!

Since the Bill Clinton sex scandals came up...I don't know how to be more bothered by a wife's shut down reaction in a philandering marriage when there's an actual candidate (Trump) who has been accused of sexual assault three times: http://fusion.net/story/328522/donald-trump-accused-rape-sexual-assault/

As the article points out: none of those accusations have resulted in charges, and anyone can make an abuse claim.

I'm really not trying to derail the conversation - and I'm not saying this makes Hillary 'better'. But it speaks to the gender bias, somewhat, in my opinion.
