I'm writing to announce that @Ayesha is stepping down as a member of staff, @Simply Simon is on extended leave from staff, and @digger and @Ronin will soon be joining as our two newest moderators.
@Ayesha has been a member of this forum since 2010, and she joined staff in December of 2012. I can personally say that I've been so inspired to follow along with and be part of her journey as she's shared it here. Her determination, tenacity, bravery, humor, creativity, and most of all, honesty - these qualities have been shared with so many members over so many years here, and the forum has benefitted from her presence in many ways. Ayesha has been moving her focus away from the forum as she's continued to heal, and grow, and thrive. We are gonna miss her a great deal, but I'm hopeful she'll pop back in to let us know how she's doing now and then. :)
@Simply Simon has (wisely) chosen to take a break from moderating while she works on giving her latest venture (graduate school) her full attention. She's still around as both a member and as the resident editor, and you can still enjoy her work in that regard by reading the articles on the home page. There's no timetable for when she'll return to active duty; it'll be the right time when it's the right time.
I'm very glad to share that @digger and @Ronin are joining staff  They will be getting up to speed over the course of the next month or so. MyPTSD is grateful to them for joining our volunteer brigade.
All staff on MyPTSD are volunteers, including myself, @anthony, and @Nicolette. We've had such a great influx of new members over 2016 that I often forget to remember (!) things that new folks may not know. So, this post seemed like an opportune moment to share that information.
And thanks, again, @Ayesha - I've learned so much from you, and hope you have nothing but all good things rising up to meet you.
