Washington D.c. Or Missouri?

I am applying for Colleges and I am going to be in a State before Fall 2017 anyway. I am torn between acceptance from Missouri and me wanting to attend school in Washington D.C. I have no family members in either state. I want to be free and go somewhere forgetting these people. I completed step 1 in the process of family separation. what College would you choose? My heart is in Washington D.C. I applied at so many Universities out of State. I just want to go far away from Arkansas. I want to no longer feel trapped
