I am trying to visualize where they built it.... I was at NNMC Bethesda before WRAMC moved there... when you get a chance give me a rough description of the layout now... or did they just move in tha main building? cuz that was always full when I was there... (well most wards) I know looking at the front doors to the left you have what is left of the golf course with the HUGE flagpole with the anchors (lol funny story there) and of course the old hospital that FDR designed and JFK was flown to when he was shot... to the right is the parking garages....
I am thinking there was a field behind the hospital to the left of the barracks parking lots that might be where they built it...

I lived the change brother...it was mostly a parking issue, still is, they just added new buildings and blew-out the Wounded Warrior facilities and Fishers Houses. It is actually good they combined it altho you could never have enough parking.

The field is still there...one new building, America, went up north of the old one, as well as the Wounded Warrior complex, next to the barracks. The rest was added behind the garages before the University. The NICU is outside the south end and there is a new NEX further south to that almost to the south gate

That's great...I'll tell him we know each other then when we chat today. He's the best doc I've had, too bad we can't clone him. Too many battle buds have trouble finding just adequate therapists.

I sent him an email when I first read his book and asked him if he would personally sign one for a friend. Well that friend dropped off the radar, but I still email Charles from time to time. Just say James Howden from Australia.

Yes, I am in the CBT/CPT Group. a 12 week cycle and then once complete we will be transitioned into a regular group were we can actually talk about specific events with the support of the other group members.

Mate, does Colonel Charles Hoge still work at Walter Reed? If so, tell him hello from James Howden in Australia and tell him that the forum is blocked and how much it helps. Its always handy to have a Colonel on your side.

Excellent! Good way to recapture the camaraderie we all miss. Is that one run by Dr. Ruiz? Or are you in another one that is associated with an in or out patient program like TRP?
