The Uniform

We wore the uniform, we thought we served it well. But when we came back from war, we put our family through hell.

Living in a f*cked up world, where all we hear are screams. Battle buddies coming to haunt us, especially in our dreams.

Always trying to fix ourselves, not knowing what is wrong. Always trying to find ourselves, wherever we may go.

For me, enough became enough, when my wife took my son. Its time to get some help, hoping life to go on.

Though I am still in the battle with the beast that hides inside, I will prevail this, for my friends that didn't make it and my love, that I hope, comes back.
