Is Isolation Always A Bad Thing

Lol well, no I only saw the similarities in the signs and warnings etc.. Its a full on gun range/paintball spot in Colorado.
I have seen a few documentaries on people living in the wilderness. I found it fascinating to be honest.
But I grew up with internet and all this technology. So there would have to be some connection...
No way I would just stay completely alone I probably couldn't hack it very long to be honest lol.

I fee the same way... for me social interaction has a high energy cost. I have to put a lot of effort into empathizing and caring about other people. When I'm alone I can relax.

I hear you man. My wife and my dogs keep me company for the most part. My socializing consists mainly of people online this forum and one other site. Lol can that be considered a form of isolation and social interaction? :)

Get solar power and take the internet with you. Problem solved.

One of the camps I go to in the middle of no where still has cell signal. I can surf the internet all day if I wanted.

And if you have a weak signal, you can roll with a jet pack and an external antenna. Get a directional Yagi style antenna and your set. You can also get a passive booster. They work. But if you are trying to hide they amplify your position.

It was weird to notice that the cabin hardly has cellphone reception.
Wireless internet takes a few minutes to load one page.
Life without tv and internet is something you get used to easily.
Being isolated from the constant stream of sounds and background noise is a blessing.

Brother, I didn't figure anything out, actually, this is my fourth marriage. My wife is the one who figured me out and accepted me as is with the beast. She's never been in the military, but she has that Grunt attitude, never give up, never surrender. She's even figured out some of my triggers, and is always there watching my six, when the beast turns my day to shite.
