Our Pets

We have two dogs, an older chow/shepard mix (our house protector), and a border collie/lab mix (my cuddlebug) who is a teenager at this point. A parakeet, box turtle, bearded dragon, and a bunch of fish. My husband and daughter wants to add a cat to the mix, but I hate cats and am allergic, so I'm fighting that one. I also bee keep, but I don't know if I'd really consider my bees "pets".

I had a pet "bee" once. I use quotes, because he was wild. However, one day I accidentally found out where his home was. I was happily and carefreely swinging around and around a pole that was in my garden, where he and I had communed in spirit many a time. He started banging his little body on my head, over and over. I quickly stopped swinging on the pole, realizing that I was shaking his home, which was inside it!!! He immediately stopped banging on my head with his little body. I felt so bad. I must have shaken him and his family up really badly. However, none of them ever banged on my head again, so I guess we continued to live in peace. I harvested the garden as usual without incident. I will never forget that day! @Beemo3780

I have a parakeet named Pippin. I'm her bff, and she likes to give me birdie kisses (tapping me with her beak) and play with my hair. She sits on my shoulder and chirps in my ear, and I tickle her belly. She loves destroying carrots, it's hilarious to watch her rip them apart and throw pieces out of her cage!

lol I think Pip only eats some of the carrot by accident, she thinks it's some rip-apart toy I invented :roflmao: I made the mistake of getting her a pink cuttle bone.... the dust has turned her feathers pink!!!!!!:facepalm::hilarious::roflmao:

3 fish with ironical names & 1 with a truthyness name

I feel like I'm forgetting someone? But I think that's just because I've jointly held a lot of animals, but those ones were mine.

I would like to have 2 dogs named Roxy & Orion

I had a parrot once that we named Chee-Chee. He was green with a red crown on his head. He was so jealous of anyone and anything that took my attention from him, and he would screech and make awful noises whenever I was on the phone. He stayed in the kitchen, and that was where the phone was, so I would have to take it to the other end of the house, in order to hear whoever was calling me!

He would laugh too. Someone visiting for coffee used to tell us jokes. My parrot would laugh at every punchline! He was a gas.

I have a kitty (she's a full grown cat but whatever) named Chloe; she's a Siamese mix. We're looking into getting a dog.

My former pets:
Cats: Milo, Chewy, Mr. Bigglesworth
Dogs: Reno (German Shepherd), Jasmine (Huskey)

I also owned about a dozen mice at one point that I rescued from a lab and my mother freaked out and made me get rid of them, lol.
