So have only seen him 4 times but I like him a lot. He’s asked me to change time/day like 3 times lol. So I’m not upset yet about it but I think I will be if it continues? Maybe? Maybe not? Therapy is really casual right now and I could move on or I could say something. I would feel kinda bitchy saying “Hey, is it possible for you to double check your schedule so we don’t need to alter our meeting time?” I mean. I could say that. Ugh. He’s pretty great otherwise. Is it kinda lame he’s asking to reschedule a lot? Clearly it’s his own issue with time management. What do you guys think? Would you say something or wait to see if it keeps happening or what?

Ugh. The very fact that I posted this means I have to say something to him or I wouldn’t have even bothered. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ok.

I’m not exactly in the habit of saying no. I feel like if I do, he won’t forget and stay p...
1) you’re paying for a service
2) you are not responsible for his schedule
3) you are as equally important as everyone else
4) you are catastrophizing a simple request. If he didn’t care about how it affected you, he’d just change you without asking.

Also, that’s mind reading/ fortune telling. You don’t know any of this to be true in the slightest. Sounds like some distorted thinking to me

What's his reasoning behind it? I would address it. If not to him personally then to his office staff. Ask them the reason and go from there. It may have been because of the holidays? However we're done with holidays for a bit now. If it's because of poor time management schedule your appointment first thing in the morning that way he won't be running behind schedule.

It’s just him. We schedule our next appt at the end of session. Which was yesterday. He’s not very available in the mornings. And he was late yesterday. Like a few min only but it kinda still speaks to his time management. And he’s been doing this for like 10 years...
