Mistakes are very valuable life learning skills.

I think if a leader of any group etc cannot admit they do not know the answer or have made a mistake. Toss them!

I can forgive mistakes and I think if a leader can admit that he/she made a mistake along with why it will not be happen again. (the lesson) I can personally move on. I don't think being a leader requires expert knowledge about everything.

I think there is too much avoidance about the concept of not knowing everything and making mistakes. This can then transfer down into all forms of governance and seep into the collective conscience of individuals.

The most profound thing I learned in nursing school was that if you didn't know, say, "I don't know, I will go find out", and to report mistakes so they could be fixed, and analyzed to see if there was a systems failure. It is amazing how patients rely on you to tell them the truth. It makes for a much safer environment when everyone knows that you are willing to do this. I have had med techs who work in doctors' offices make up stuff when they didn't know. Thank God I knew better. The same rule applies everywhere. It isn't a character flaw to admit a mistake, or to not know something. For me, a leader would be willing to learn, be open minded, see all sides. If you say the coal miners are out of work, let's open the mines, that is not a solution that will work in the long term. Why not use the money to retrain displaced workers on renewable energy sources such as wind or water? But of course I am a tree hugging, permaculture loving, old hippy.

My brother does podcasts and he has had a very recent guest as of Tuesday, I believe, with a man named Dmitry Orlov who had some pretty jaw dropping things to say about this. I’m not at all knowledgeable about any of this but I do try to understand the best I can on what is going on in politics. Basically my belief is that it’s all corrupt. Reading a few of your comments I feel that maybe you agree that this recent “bombing” in Syria was fake in the sense that supposedly Syria had surrendered all of its chemical weapons to international inspectors and the US paid to have them destroyed previously and there isn’t evidence to suggest that chemical weapons weren’t even used. But, “Syrian rebels” do have chemical weapons and the ability to make them which is another piece of the puzzle. Also that the majority of the missiles didn’t hit “targets” anyway.

What was interesting is the question of what was this really about if it wasn’t real and we’re being fed lies through most media sources in the US anyway. A thought was that in the past, when there is some sort of sex scandal going on like in the past with the Clintons, certain world crisis would happen to take attention away from some scandals for a short amount of time. Maybe here too? I don’t know much but I’m really frightened about the level of corruption in our politics and media. But, I don’t stay frightened for long because anything scary gets tucked away somewhere out of conscious thoughts. But, after listening to the podcast I’m really wanting to move out of the US. But, where to go? I apologize if I sound silly and naive because I am but I am curious about your thoughts. Thank you:)

Whilst Bombing for Blowjobs has a certain ring to it... there’s far too much real going on in the world to need to invent catastrophe.

The news cycle itself either naturally replaces yesterday’s news, or they’re fed something which would ordinarily be kept out of the public eye as much as possible. Things that are already going on, and don’t have to be made up or started. Whether a thwarted terror attack (there are dozens/hundreds we’re never informed about for operational reasons or to prevent public panic / but they’re on the freaking public record an awful lot, whackadoodle nutjobs abound, but they’re presented as excitingly as CSPAN so no one cares), troop movements or military action (oooooh shiny), a disgraced judge (who otherwise would have been forced into quiet early retirement), the latest pop-illness (6 people dead from blah blah blah) ... pick a flavor, any flavor, whatever flavor floats media news outlet’s boat as sexier/scarier $$$$ than their other story... and that’s assuming that Music Legend Marries Film Star hasn’t grabbed their attention away, already. :rolleyes:

That does have a ring to it! I know I do sell myself short by my own disclaimer of me being unknowledgeable and naive but I’m going to actually grow a spine and respectfully disagree with you about catastrophe not being invented. I believe this happens quite often.

Yea the media is completely fed narratives and owned by the elite as a propaganda machine. We're fed the illusion of choice between liberal or republican and bicker amongst ourselves while psychopaths tax the shit out of us to cause man made catastrophe's in order to bring about their world domination conquest or as Bush Sr. said, "A New World Order."

These are the type of men who sit to discuss about how to bring the populations approval of bombing the living hell out of another country.
Catastrophe's don't occur as often as pure evil and lack of humanity would prefer contrary to Friday's belief. Although you cannot immediately rule disasters and legitimate events as all fake. You have to follow the patterns and become your own detective if you will. Things like there's always an active shooter drill at these schools before someone goes on a rampage etc.

Youtube literally banning videos from the internet of David Hogg being coached through lines should have been a big red flag for anyone with any critical thinking capacity. Little scrawny shit would sell his mother to ISIS for a million dollars.

As far as where to go, I have no idea lol. I don't plan on going anywhere myself though I probably would if I could. New Zealand looks nice.

Yes, New Zealand does look nice. Lol! This is kind of off the subject but also kind of pertains is that the United States had a eugenics program prior to WWII with legal forced sterilizations that gave inspiration to the Nazi’s use of it. There was even forced sterilizations after and some still happen to this day. I know lots of bad things happen everywhere and I’m lucky to live where I do. I know there is just as much evil here as there is in other countries and our “leaders” create a lot of suffering for people all over the world.

@Fionas74 You have hit on a very touchy subject. For the record, the eugenics program that Hitler's Germany lived under originated in the United States. Yes that's right folks, the US had a full blown eugenics program long before the Nazis. They got the idea of a master race from us. The Rockefeller Foundation funded Hitler's eugenics program which was the basis of the Holocaust. Where do you think Planned Parenthood originated? Margaret Sanger in 1916 founded the killing machine that changed its name to Planned Parenthood in 1942. It was a eugenics program to decrease the black population in the US. The Rockefeller Foundation Funded Planned Parenthood and Margret Sanger which was a eugenics program for controlling the black population in the US. The truth is ugly folks. Shalom. :D

I stumbled upon that on Wikipedia while looking into learning about a movie about the Loving v Virginia case that the Supreme Court finally ruled that anti-miscegenation laws violate the 14 th amendment. I didn’t know as much as I should about history so now I’m trying to catch up. It definitely isn’t pretty to say the least. And in 1938 the Euthanasia Society of America was established and yes, they actively lobbied state legislators for legalization of involuntary euthanasia of people with mental disabilities. These are not some cooked up conspiracy theories either.
