I think it is a scam. I have been researching it and all the info he gave to me does not add up.

He asked for personal Identification info. Like DOB and full legal name. He did it in a round about way, by supplying these things of his to me. However, there is no record anywhere for his name, etc. and the phone number he uses is not legit. It's a scam, probably played on numerous unsuspecting souls. I did not give any info other than my phone number and email address. I am well educated on these kinds of scams. He was pretty slick there for awhile. I suspected something amiss from the start, then I second guessed myself, and then I caught on when it became more obvious. I should NOT second guess myself!!! Gut instincts are real.

Well I'm disapointed he/it was a scam. Damantion to him and his ilk.

But I am very impressed with you @Changing4Best - for doing the research and getting out before unfixable damage was done!

Even though you say you didn't listen to your gut instinct initially - you followed through & checked him out in a timely manner and thats's really good. :)

Well, he persisted, and proved to me that he is a real person. I also checked him out on a search/ records site and found him listed there. I did some other research as well. So, I am carrying on with it. I think my "gut instincts" were stirred up by so many people telling me about scammers, cat fishers, and so on. I got scared and misinterpreted things. Time will tell. As far as I know though, he is legit. He even sent me some images of stuff he is working on with Solar Energy.

Wow! - Still.... take everything with a grain of salt @Changing4Best - there are scammers who are persistent.

I'm sorry to throw a wet blanket on it. I hope he turns out to be totally genuine but hold back your heart my friend it's too valuable to get hurt now. :hug:

We spoke on the phone last night for the first time. He had been bashful about his accent, (he is of Portuguese ancestry) and so had been stalling on that one thing. (I had not known why he was stalling). So now things look even better. My husband had an accent, so that is something I can get used to and I even find kind of sexy too.
