....trying to wipe in a rushed panic.

For some reason I really like this one.

Me, too.

LMFAO... I think we’ve ALL been there!

(Shhh) I’ve gotten really good at punching the box in exactly the right place to bump the lock, so the box flips open and I can just grab the damn roll. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

<putting on my RationalizationQueen crown> :sneaky:

They manufacture & sell those things by statistics IE make them deliberately difficult to use, so that people will use less paper, so they have to buy fewer rolls. (Too tightly packed, rol-stop-roll-stop, awkward angles that tear the paper every x number of inches, etc.) I consider it just doing my part to adjust their numbers towards it being more cost effective to buy user friendly dispensers. That, and helping out the next person in easy access hygiene.

Yeh, really, I go out of my way to get enough toilet paper, outsmarting all their gimmicks. It is so annoying!

Another hydrangea photo to share. I use this one as a background on my Computer screen. Enjoy!

This reminds me that I have to get a shot of something I keep meaning to get at work. This one is one I like too, because I live on a corner where there is a traffic light, and well, I am kind of fond of the things.

Percussion has been one of my therapeutic tools for quite some time. I used to have a djembe and a conga drum, but they were rather large and not as easy to tote around as my pains continued to increase and multiply, so I downsized.

The slingshot-looking one in the front is one I made and wrapped with an old tie, and later learned it resembles a sistrum (Egyptian instrument).

The stick on the right is what my step-daughter made in the 4th or 5th grade.

I use the hair pic on the washboard and a metal spray bottle and the wooden guiro.

There's a wooden toad, a harmonica, a kazoo, rain stick, maracas, cow bells, etc., etc.

My thrift shop acquired yogi and boo-boo picinica basket is the perfect storage/tote. Rock on...raise the roof. ?

I love to tap my feet. I have a specific rhythm that I do over and over again. Something about that particular riff makes me feel comfort and peace. I tried a drum once, but it did not do it for me. I do remember having a bongo drum as a kid. That did do something for me. I suppose I should invest in one, as my special rhythm requires both feet and would probably resound in my soul if I could use both hands to do it. Thanks for the inspiration. I will have to think if there might be something I can make that will bring out the rhythms in me. Thanks for the inspiration.

Lots of the housing in my city is Victorian (I might be wrong about that - might be Edwardian - anyways) terraces, in my area too, in fact I live in a Victorian maisonette. Alot of em when they were first built had black and white front paths and stained glass doors and windows. Most don't still have that anymore but a few do. Or some have had them put back. I'm a sucker for stained glass and these black and white paths - this one is not original, it's new, but pretty still.

This one is original and has been patched up.
