I'm still laughing my FKN ass off, @shatter eyes . Ha!

I looked it up and its an Australian company that makes cleaning solutions. FKN means "Friendly Kleening Naturally" (source: google) not joking.

That was funny time and the washroom graffiti added excitement to the shot. If the box was toilet paper then it will make sense because it literally "cleans shit up" when i make a "mess".

I can feel the calm in that shot, @bellbird . Nice!

Too funny, @shatter eyes . lol

Took the camera for a walk today after wrapping up a rough appt. and more paperwork. Diggin' the beauty(s) that got me grounded again...

Did some cloud watching. To me, at the right side of the cloud where the sun is the brightest behind it, it looks like a silhouette of a little angel-like figure, with wings and a halo of sorts, kneeling down holding a bird in its hands.

What's up, buttercup? I don't recall seeing a buttercup quite like this one before....

This is one of my favorite kinds of dragon flies....it looks like a short thick white pipe cleaner with black wings as it zooms on by....glad it decided to land for a while.

I see it. I totally see it. It is amazing how our minds work to see the wonders of life. What a contrast of when hypervig is activated. For me to see threats to you seeing angels.

This thread is very healing. I told my counselor about it and said one day i would love to do something locally to bring PTS folks out of hiding and into healing thru photography.

Also told him that i suspect trauma and our sensitive systems allow us to maybe see the world differently anf when we take pictures we have a gift of capturing the energy. We go public with mission to reduce stigma and empower people to share.

@bellbird thank you for starting this again. I think the forum is also very successful because we can hide and socialize at the sametime. Hide physically and participate socially online.

Title: Peek A Boo I see You

Can you find my turtle friend? I took her for a walk. There was an eagle flying around so maybe thats why she hide and go peek a boo.

Love this :)

Amen to that. I really love this thread :)

So this was lunch. I've decided to have a go at the recipes in Yotam Ottolenghi's cookbook Simple. This was the cucumber & lamb's lettuce dressed with garlic, ginger, lemon juice, salt & yogurt.

I might be taking rather a lot of photos of my dinner. Hope no-one minds!

Peek-a-boo, I see you, turtle friend of @shatter eyes . I wonder if those dead needles on the tree limbs smell sweet, a lot like cotton candy, like the dead fir trees in our yard do? Can we get some scratch and sniff options on these photos, please? Ha!

You're right about the therapeutic feels of this thread. Taking my camera for a walk, and visiting this thread whether I contribute each visit or not, does me so much good each and every time, even if all the pictures I take end up blurry or whatever, it was still a chance to get out of my head and shift my focus...it's pretty scary in there some (most) days. High fives and heart hugs to @bellbird for thinking of it and creating it.

Do you deliver across the pond, @berlinda ? Yum! :)

Here's some napkin decoupage on tiles crafty stuff that I'm creating/discovering/distracting myself with. Diggin' it so far. The sloth "slow jams" is my absolute favorite. It makes me giggle every time I look at it. Not done with them yet, but not sure which direction we're going from here. I had no idea there were so many groovy napkin designs nowadays.

Another highlight of my day was a visit from a dear friend who has many cool toys that my nervous system dearly loves. The sounds vary from feeling like you're simply one big gentle vibration, to feeling like you're diving off the deep end into a giant pool of soothing harmonic resonance, to feeling like you're smack dab in the middle of the climax of a Pink Floyd video with the sound cranked all the way up. Each cell in my body was diggin' it....and still is....

Wow you found her!!! Oh boy was it difficult getting her out. When turtles walk i noticed the tail is lifted and points like a compass needle, not sure what that means. Her eyes are like little jewels.

I like the sloth with headphones...Slow Jam. Funny.

Your photo of the gong and singing bowls came perfect timing because tomorrow i decided to go to a Gong Bath celebrating scorpio moon phase. It is suppose to nurture creative energy. Since TBI injured the left front crapping out my executive thinker skills i thought it be good to welcome the scorpio moon vibrations to amp up my right brain...maybe i will become an artist and stick fire extinguishers up giraffe butts with no shame (Andy Warhol). I really do want to explore arts more along with getting in tune with my body and mind. Seeing your photo and reading how it soothed your system has already reduced my anxiety for tomorrow.
Thank you

Hope you enjoy(ed) the sound bath, @shatter eyes . :) The gong part can become quite intense, but, to me, it feels like a very safe intense, if that makes sense.

Ahhh...the flowers are so pretty, @Still Standing ! Definitely a beautiful day in your neighborhood. I spent some time sniffing peonies this evening, and dodging ants. lol

This was one of the bright spots of my day today...they're like sunshine with wings...
