Anyone else put off by trump's recent comments on "the mentally ill". (My phone refuses to capitalize trump. I finally decided to quit fighting with it.) His talk reminds me of the Soviets locking dissidents up in "insane asylums".

Broken promises, obscenely large salary package for the CEO, stagnate or reduced wages for the workers, closing down plants here there and everywhere. Huge profits all the while... ugh.. you are so right, it's not pretty at all. :confused:

This will impact more than GM families. Already has. I work in the automotive industry and my plant already shut down 2 of our GM lines. Approximately 20 people work these 2 lines so my guess is it won't be long before they let some of our temps go. We have a bunch of temps but we do hire after their 90 days, unlike GM.

I'm in the "Motor City" and the majority of the people I know are in the industry too. Walking the picket lines as we speak.
