My husband's willingness to help others out in any way he possibly can. Not sure how I got so lucky, but I give thanks every damn day that our paths crossed when they did and he chose to share his life with me, even after I tried like hell to talk him out of it. Whew!

So, I was in Target today and it is in remodel model; aka one hot mess. I was looking for something in the cooler row and not looking where I was going, and rammed the cart, full-on, into a pillar. It even took me a minute to realize what I'd done; pre-occupied. And there was a man, my age, behind me who witnessed the whole thing and said "I didn't see a thing" very convincingly. OMG, I was so embarassed! I remarked "I'm glad I wasn't on >>>>> driving my car" and we had a big old laugh. ?

My new cat makes my 1 year old cat even goofier. The reason I got her was to give the cat a playmate.. But this goofiness is so funny!

New cat is on the left in first pic. My regular cat is much smaller and in second pic although they are same age. I have a total of two cats.

Meeting up and stocking up on the above mentioned goodies and having great conversations about crafting more goodies, where to source the supplies, foraging and what we each have readily available in our living spaces, planting and saving seeds, and feeling the excitement in our voices regarding each. I love those kind of interactions, dearly. Glad I looked for her and reached out. Yay!

I have ordered one of those teasets for one- a teapot that sits over a cup- and some special teas to enjoy over the next month.
something just for me that doesn’t match anything else in the cupboard. It’s not an extravagant purchase but it feels like it.

I have a beautiful but very weedy terrace in my herb garden. I am hoping to start weeding next week. If I just pull ten weeds at a time it’s something! The winds have been harsh on my garden - climbers ripped off walls and stuff. I am looking forward to order being gently restored.

Stopped smoking a year ago today and I am smiling ear to ear over it. I not only broke a bad habit but, I also fulfilled a promise to my sister and that makes me smile.
