Helpful YouTube Channels

Hello there.

I´ve recently discovered some YouTube channels that can be quite helpful for people going through trauma.
I wanted to share some channels that have worked for me or that I thought could help people - add your own channels below!

1. Therapy in a nutshell. Short videos on things like anxiety and dissociation, explained in a really nice way, the therapist offers helpful tools.
2. Einzelganger. This one is more life-advice oriented but I find the stoic/calmness approach very grounding.
3. Crappy Childhood Fairy. Videos on CPTSD from a very nice woman. Don´t know the channel that well yet but some of the advice is spot on.

For people who keep an open mind:

4. Teal Swan. This is a spiritually oriented channel but it also deals with anxiety, childhood trauma, fragmentation... I find her advice to be incredibly helpful.

These helped me, if I find new ones I will post them too.
Share your own! :):)

I've learned so much from you tube channels I began calling it You Tube University. ?

I've seen some of the Crappy Childhood Fairy (love that name) ones and Teal Swan, too. It always makes me smile to see folks who've enjoyed and benefited from some of the same ones I have. Thanks for sharing!

I started a thread back in the day that I still add to when I remember to that contains many of my favorites regarding many different topics, thus far:

Favorite "you tube university" videos

I find it hard to choose an absolute favorite since there's so many different veins of each topic I like to explore.

What thrills me the most is unlearning decades of deeply ingrained programs to make room for learning things I never knew I needed to learn, then having my life be repeatedly and healthily enriched by what others used to teach me was a bunch of BS, or "pseudoscience", or too "out there", etc. to ever work. Hahahaha! Priceless.

Yeah, I wondered if it should be merged with that topic and then thought a section for just "ptsd-related" channels would be nice, however if more convenient they can be merged, that´d be fine...

I´m interested in a ton of other things on YT too, you could call me an addict... xD
Some education stuff, philosophy, psychology...

This, science does not have all the facts, nor is science always invulnerable to biased (or bought!) interpretation... there is a really sad tendency in western societies to immediately dismiss everything outside. How can a person grow if they dismiss possibilities outside of their "reality"?
