The local grocery store had a truck of paper products come in this morning and it all sold immediately. I’m sure people were buying cart loads. ? I am stocked with 14 rolls (purchased pre-panic), and if I run out, I’m just going to switch to cloth. Not a big deal. I knew that keeping a bag of rags would pay off at some point!

Yes! People do it all the time and call it family cloth. Just keep it in a small about of vinigar water I believe but there is a few wonderful channels on youtube that teach you how to use family cloth (cloth toliet "paper"). You don't need to cut and sew the ends of the rag but if you can, it'll last longèr.

Here is channel I like to watch talking about how to use family cloth:

And to be honest, I would just hand stich the ends. It looks like like a hem stitch or when you stich you take the thread aroind the needle which will give you a line of thread between the stitches. Im not advising that righr but you can even search on how to do that sort of stich by hand. That's what I'd do anyway.

Thank you! I just have not been able to comprehend this! Soap and water, is this so hard to figure out? What in the world has happened to everyone? The LAST thing anyone should be worried about is TP. We got some stuff at the store, I'm not really worried and I hope that's justified in the end, but no one said, meaning my wife and I, who brought up six kids together, should we get tp. It's not for real.

The pot shop just sent an email, closed to.non medical patients. The pot thing is still a little bit of an issue, mostly because I have to be clandestine about it. Its not as easy as it should be still to get it. This is mostly me though and my social circles which are non existent. I use it as a medicine, and dont know anyone on drugs. I always hated, and still do mostly, having to deal with anyone about it. I just want to go in a store and pay. I do have a guy locally who helps me out but having the pot shop there was really handy if things get tight. I'm not worried about tp but this, I'm a little worried lol!

DH on unpaid leave starting - as soon as they can spare him. Two weeks has become two months :( .

The good news? Survival kicking in for me. It’s forcing me out. I’m vegetable gardening. My vet garden is some distance from my house and I have found it too hard to get there since PTSD - I’ve grown odd salad bits in the herb gardens. Now I know I have too and I guess the ‘luxury’ Of indulging my fear of outside cannot he indulged. :/.

My country got a stay-home alerts & non-essential commerce ban as of yesterday, curfews & movement limits as of today, about a village of infected (when recounted to total population, not that big of a big deal)

And socially we're about at @SeekingAfrica's atmosphere.

Health care workers are in major lack of masks, tho.

Yeaaah... that was few days ago. As of today we are also in 'state of emergency'. All schools, unis, kindergartens, sport events and gyms, and big activities are closing down, stores are reducing hours. There is talk about schools being closed until the end of the school year. My ballet classes are fully off and we are trying to figure out if we can do anything about them online in the meantime. There will be police in front of hospitals and if anyone under quarantine breaks it they can get jailtime. Things are starting to get very upside down by the hour.

I'm dealing okay with the virus threat, but all the restrictions on what you can do and all the unknowns of what will happen forward are very stressful. Only good thing is that emptied shelves are restocked and we are assured that we have plenty of food and supplies coming in so no reason to panic on that side.
I do work at home and I am an introvert, but I am still human. And when I had sprained ankle and had to spend weeks mostly at home mostly sitting or laying down it was very claustrophobic so this situation is making me feel on edge.

Though again, good side, I've been through many hard things, so I think I can get a hang on this too.

@DharmaGirl

I‘ve read your writings Dharmagirl... yes that’s a rough method..
Nope, a reader and draw once in a while. What games Do you like to play? Do like staying alone at home, it’s more the must Be healthy and functionable always = control.
I play Fallout 4, which is odd, since it is gory. I also like Mahjong and solitare.

I make lists in the morning of what I want to accomplish. Maybe that would help?
