The highlight of my day is Management FINALLY got someone out to mow the grass that has grown so tall my dog disappears when she goes out to potty! It is going to look so nice and clean here again.

Finding someone to inexpensively help do some spring cleaning who is also sensitive/allergic to fragrances and lives a scent-free life. Hot damn!

It's the first time I've ever sought outside help with my domestic goddess chores (ha!), but I'm choosing to do so as a treat to self for my upcoming born day.

Getting help to do the major spring cleaning stuff that I can't seem to catch up on now that it's gardening/yardening season is going to feel like such a heavy weight lifted, and will make more time for growing more food to share and preserve, and it will help support a local family/business. Win/win/win.

The highlight for me today was floating this afternoon in the pool. It had just been cleaned, he did it when we were there. The fountain noise was going, the water temperature was perfect, just walk right in. It was so refreshing floating carefree in the 9o0+ degree weather. I got a little color on me, my skin feels nice and was tingling a little when I was out there. It really was a beautiful afternoon, I feel fortunate to have had it.

-band rehearsal, but the last one wasn't the highlight
-some asparagus chicken that gf cooked
-riding the bike for 2 hours, and then eating at a student restaurant

Turned out to actually be the rehearsal, better chemistry than last time.

So setting multiple highlights makes it easier to hit one!
