I just can’t believe she won’t even offer to help with the surgery, it’s insane! It sounds like you are making great strides in recovery. You are doing what you need to do and that's all you can do.

that's really good to hear at least for your own sake. i regret that your wife was unable to look past that incidence. as it does sound quite hurtful. none the less welcome and you will find many here who can relate.
Welcome to the site. Sorry for your wife. Solitude by two has its special way of being hurtful. I hope things turn out to be a bit better. Congrats for being sober. Hope that this place helps you!
Very sore today, last night was not fun. I confronted her last night and she told me that I never told her that I have having surgery, which is a total lie because after the incident she told me to take the time away to work on things, lied right to my face, unbelievable! So much for in sickness and health. That is pretty cold. My ex husband who did everything he could to screw me over was in the hospital with cancer and sepsis. I still drove him home and did his grocery shopping since he was really weak. I did it out of a sense of caring even though we had grown apart. You will get through this. It's really, really hard.
How are you feeling today?
Thank you again for your kind words.I'm sorry she's being so mean. She sounds like she needs some time away so she can treat you with respect. My ex lied all the time, even when there was no reason. That was one of the reasons I left, I couldn't believe a word he said. Keep rocking your recovery.
I called and made an appointment for Monday next week, still waiting to hear back from the behavioral health clinic yet, I think I’m in shock to be honest.I'm so sorry. That has to be so hard. Do you have any other support? When do you start the EAP back up?
It’s employee assistance program, sucks I can’t talk to him until next week though.I'm sorry for you man. Really tough times. What's EAP? You need support.
They do, I turned in paperwork a few weeks ago but was told I probably wouldn’t be able to get in until late July or early August.Do the behavioural health clinic do therapy? Referrals can take a while.
