Does anyone else experience dissociative seizures? I’ve never really encountered anyone else who has them and it makes me feel a bit alone in it.

Actual documented seizures involving disassociate traits; like petit mal / absence seizures? Or TIAs (transient ischemic attacks)?

Or PNES, psychogenic non-epileptic seizures?

Or seizure used metaphorically to indicate suddenly seized by a severe dissociative episode?

PNES specifically. I can’t speak on behalf of any other type

i used to have focal type pnes that i didn’t know was that at the time but it’s been awhile since i had an episode. i didn’t do anything specific to help them but they tapered off after i got out of my abusive relationship, so for me they must have been caused by that level of distress caused from living with an abusive person.

i had a pnes seizure recently, and i just went numb afterwards, im stuck and i dont think i have much of a future, when my ptsd gets triggered, feels like hell. i think im permanently damaged
