It was more so you poking your tongue out.

Definitely caught my attention. I don't think I'd have the guts to put a picture of myself immediately when joining - perhaps after I felt safe but not initially.

Not to speak for Erica, but I think it might be an "our generation" thing. Not calling you old, Nicolette! It's just that we practically grew up with myspace and Facebook, so people seeing our picture on the Internet is nothing new.

If I'm totally off, sorry! Just a guess.

Could have a good point there MurphyJB. My 19 year old (tomorrow) definitely thinks I'm old & I grew up in a little country town where, if you scratched your nose, by the time you got home you had been picking your nose. Small community, small minds which I guess had an influence.

I have never used myspace either (rolleyes).

You will see people change their avatars here depending on how they feel. Sometimes lots of faces are used, sometimes rarely... The forum gets into trends at times... ie. cartoon themes, movies, etc.
