54. I’ve got a good relationship with my family doctor; we’re an “old couple”. I was in my second year university and she was a resident when we met (1997).
55. I have good intuition.
56. I’m quite surprised that the only physical health problems I’ve got are fixable or at least manageable … no cancer. What I witnessed had a toll on my body and mind, but what I did was right, guess it’s Life’s way of agreeing with me. This is my opinion and am Cartesian enough to know that there are other factors involved.
57. I apparently am a fairly positive person.
58. I will not unfairly judge people – I try to keep an open mind.
59. I have a way to be respected by people who try to damper my reputation – no, I don’t threaten to kill them … LOL.
60. I can stay very calm in stressful situations.
61. I make good oriental soups.
62. I have gratitude for the things I have and receive.
63. I live besides a ravine with a river cascade that “sings” during the 4 seasons. I love sharing this beautiful place with others.
64. Inspired by Lionheart777 : I too feel like I have a warrior’s soul, or even a Templar’s soul.
65. I am learning to receive as I have a tendancy … naw … I’m a giver and have always had issues deserving to receive … rectifying a false belief.
66. I will survive for the victims.
67. I learn great things from others, be they elders, youngsters or those of my age. No one has the absolute truth … certainly not me.
68. I’m at ease to be a free thinker and doer. I don’t need other people’s consent to do what I feel is right. I’m mature enough to assume what I do.
69. I was also a high school drop out and I now have a bachelor’s degree.
70. If I die today, I will not have regrets. I did what I had to do, my conscious is clear.
71. Again inspired by Lionheart777, I too have learned to be inter-dependent with others and spiritually.
72. I’m comfortable in jeans, skirts or dresses … depends on my moods.
73. I’ve learned to say no to people without feeling guilty.
74. Where I live, I’m one of the renters who has to greatest (most) contacts with family (children and grand-children). This place is for people 55 years +. So even with PTSD, I still manage to do things OK.
75. OK, can’t believe that I’m actually at 75 … PTSD is “only” a part of me.
76. I like to feel bodily clean with scents of goat milk, shea butter, jasmine or citrus fragrances.
77. I love to look at thunder storms.
78. I love to take pictures of my grand-children. My photo album is my fridge and they love seeing themselves there.
