I also love that book although at times I want to slap Scarlett O'Hara :rolleyes:. It was such a loss Margaret Mitchell was killed before she wrote another book.

Hi KP,
There is a book just out celebrating GWTW- 75 years (orig. released in 1936 as book) and has new details about MM and her life. Turns out that book was such a production, she didn't want to do any others. Also her health was frail and stress got to her. I agree but after reading all she went through before technology came along, I don't blame her.

I have a severe crush on the male lead character of the novel I'm working on, but I can't seem to make the female lead character fall for him. She refuses to feel close to him. It drives me nuts. Nuts, I say!

--I earned a Doctoral Degree by the time I turned 24 years old--yet I still don't (and never did) think of myself as having even average intelligence. Looking back I did it all while suffering from CPTSD and completely alone. I never got any accolades whatsoever from my family and my recently ex-husband's sole purpose in life was to make me feel stupid--which he fully accomplished.
--I discovered about 2 years ago that I had a knack for photography--having never had any interest in it ever before. I completely lack any knowledge about it whatsoever and all I have is a basic digital camera yet I seem to be able to see and capture some really cool things (I took the photo that is my Avatar--I love the dragonfly's shadow)
--I have a child that was profoundly brain-injured at birth and is completely disabled
--I can't stand being around water that I can't get in (If I see a swimming pool, ocean, lake etc I have an unbelievable urge to get in it)
--My son tells me that I can gasp in 27 different ways
--I have always wanted to play the piano
--When I was young I had imaginary friends--I even had imaginary sisters and a cousin!
--When I was young I wanted to be an Olympic figure skater--or at least wear the outfits

I once threw up red wine projectile in a Chinese restaurant dressed as the Queen of hearts.

I used to make my H and I 'gin and tonic' and 'brandy and coke' ice lollies to have in the swimming pool - no glasses to break :roflmao:

I have double vision. Had it my entire life (from what I'm told). I suppose I'm used to it. I only really notice it if I concentrate on it- damn it!

Sometimes I like to walk on my toes. It just feels good.
