Could be the war, my little brother is still there...I dont know really, I havent worked in about 10 days now, lucky for me my boss is understanding.

I just wish it would stop, I have too many bad memories.

I have been listening to the news, bad stuff out there. I can see how that might set things off, 100 x worse for having your brother out there - sorry man, thats poor.

Have a (((((hug))))) from a long time sufferer. If I was there I would be putting on the kettle for a brew and sticking on some good music.

My OH is lost in his computer right now, that's where he hides out. Head phones on and off he goes...

Do you game?

No, not really, I have a Harley I ride. I try to work and I do know some hand to hand. I practice my moves, plus I try to ride my bike.

<Edited for basic grammar>

So jealous of the bike grrrrrr....

My husband was riding my daft little honda 125 the night he got hit and neither of us has riden since. He hasn't got enough movement left to handle a bike and I wont ride if he can't, that would be evil.

I tried to get him interested in a trike but he aint having it. I quite fancied something custom, bike based and a bit flash... we can dream. Instead, I bought myself a little MX5 convertable and we scoot around with the top down in all but heavy rain. Decent little motor, lovely gearbox.

Do me a favour (only if you feel safe), go out for a blast on your Harley and think of us... I am tearing up now remembering how it felt - soppy cow!

Thanks for reminding me, I am at work tomorrow and will go for an extended drive on my way home - blow out some cobwebs. :)

Good for you! I'll go tomorrow.

I live at the Smokie Mountains in Tn. Its a nice ride up there, sorry you guys dont ride anymore but I do understand the danger in riding.

Do you game?
,
what does that mean?
Computer game!

One of the easiest ways to lose hours of your life BUT also a superb way of distracting when stuff isn't going well.

Shoot em up games can be cathartic and help to exorcise "demons". My OH flies aircraft in an on line war game simulation (sim) and is in a motor racing sim club, joining up with a worldwide community, many (like him) have disabilities that make real life socialising difficult.

I play god games and war games and must admit to being a huge fan of Pokemon.

No, actually i dont play many games, i have no kids and im not married, I just never took the time to play them or even watch. I know lots of people who play...it just isnt something im interested in. I do try to occupy myself with different things but even that gets boreing! Im still looking for ways but its difficult for me, at this time.

Hi Blackdog, I just got back in from work. I took the long way home with the top down.

Jeeze, it was fine. Cold and clear, pale winter sun and an open road. I put on my music extremely loud, it's Clutch at the moment, and let the world melt away as the wind took my hair and the lyrics sunk in deep. The words to one song in particular (The Regulator) have got me by the neck and wont let go.

The man in the song is planning to do something terrible and is praying to god to intervene. It hits a nerve in me.

Sorry, I'm rambling. I hope you managed to find some relief today, even for a few minutes.

Stay strong!

Thanks Pale Warrior, I'm leaving later with a bud, we are going for a ride up the mountain. I hope its a good one and not to cold.

I say damn the cold, get those leathers on and go lay down some rubber!

Where we live there are no mountains for miles so you be sure to enjoy the privelege :D (green with envy).
