I have little trouble speaking up, getting into conversations. I do love to talk! Sometimes I am a good listener too; I am working on improving that last thing, because listening is just as important as speaking one's mind.
I generally have a lot of empathy, and, when someone irks me, I try to imagine what might be bothering him/her that might be getting in the way of a more harmonious communication.
I am calm and reassuring when my husband is having hallucinations and delusions and falsely accusing me of things I am not doing. It seems to help him. So I am learining to remain calm.
