Close up of my nativity. I had an old one with little statues of all the characters but some got broke and I saw this one in my local Christian book shop. It is glass and lit from the back with tea lights. I love it!

My little fibre optic tree which I always put up as it was my Mum's and it reminds us all of her.

Albatross, my son would have stared at that train for hours when he was little. He probably would have wanted us to get one! He was so into trains. Nice pictures.

This is my tree I got for free at the Food Pantry here in town. I could not have afforded to buy one, so I was so happy that someone had donated one and it was available for free to me. Then next to it I have my favorite Nativity.

This is my Christmas cake, totally made and iced by me. Hence a snow scene;) and if you look to the left, there is even a slight avalanche where the icing slipped off, of course that was the plan - not :roflmao:.

On a happy tree note...One year, before Thanksgiving, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Right after Thanksgiving he started treatment. My boys were in grade school and pre school. One of the parent's, at the preschool, found out that we could not get a tree. My husband was too weak, couldn't go out because of his immune system, and, frankly, because he was missing work, we had no money. Her and her husband donated a tree from their tree business. The man even brought it here and put it up for us. Ever since, we go to their tree business to get a tree. It's just a local family business and it might be a little bit more cost then other commercial places, but they have our loyalty for life. We could never repay the kindness that was shown to us and the gratitude we felt. Thing is, I don't think they ever expected us to. They were that kind.
