Tired, emotionally hurting, my GI tract is now pissed at me, neck hurts, upper arms hurt and back hurts from all tension. Twinges of anger are there.

Traumagirl can you build in a shower break? If your kids are old enough that you can take a little time, I used to take a warm shower to give myself a break when I felt I was getting stressed. If you have bubble blowers, that can help too. In order to make proper bubbles, you have to breathe deeply (like relaxation) and you can get the kids to do it too. I don't know if you have the space, but a bathroom worked for me since the bubbles can be soapy and sticky. It often turned a crappy day into something silly. If they are older and 'too cool', you could create a target for them to try to hit.
Just an idea that I hope might help your day be a little better.
